LAS VEGAS – “I, for me, don’t want to be like a computer that attacked me,” said Billie Whitehouse.

Wearable Tech Fashion: Elevate Your Business In The Digital Era

The 27-year-old founder of Wearable Experiments shows off a coat that appears to be an ordinary garment of fine silk: It’s gray, covered in tiny houndstooth and embroidered, and trimmed in red.

But Whitehouse, incorporating technology into his clothing, has built in removable electronics hidden in a hidden shoulder pocket. The boomerang-shaped device is designed with GPS to navigate to cities including New York and Paris. Say you want to go to the Louvre: Instead of pulling out a map or phone to show directions, the jacket works with you in a stealthy way as you walk, swaying to the left, for example, to point left.

“We want to remove all the clutter, the noise of technology from our lives,” says Whitehouse, who met with Louis Vuitton and other fashion houses to show the coat. “I wanted to give clothes a smart look.”

The combination of technology and fashion became popular with the debut of the Apple Watch, which the tech giant quickly positioned itself as a personal wearable. Shortly after announcing it last year, Apple CEO Tim Cook boasted that the watch, which is expected to hit stores soon, appeared on the cover of Vogue China. “Like anything you wear, how it looks is at least as important as what it does,” says Apple on its website.

At International CES, the gargantuan annual fashion show historically known as a showcase for all things geeky, exhibitors are promoting their wearables with buzzwords like “elegant,” “refined” and “art for connected living.” Technical specifications, once sold for the first time on the device, are stored later in the product.

“We’ve always focused on design,” said Alyssa Anderson, spokeswoman for Misfit, a fitness and sleepwear company called Shine.

The Burlingame, Calif.-based company believes Shine’s design will attract the best customers. The $100 watch is simple and sleek and comes in pearl paste colors including sea glass, champagne and coral. Users can upgrade to long wristbands made of leather and mesh, or wear the tracker as a necklace. Misfit also offers a Swarovski Shine line.

Other tech products, Anderson said, “go around the functionality and try to make something good in the end, instead of focusing on quality from the start of the product.”

Wearable Devices Get More Stylish As Fashion And Technology Intersect

The global wearable computer market reached 19.2 million shipments in 2014, more than three times the previous year, according to IDC. The research firm says the market will grow to 111.9 million shipments in 2018.

According to a report by research firm Gartner, smart clothing is expected to have significant growth opportunities in the future as the category moves out of the testing phase.

That presents a huge opportunity to introduce tech products, and many are looking at fashion as a way to differentiate their products. That changes the look and feel of wearable devices, from finger-sized fitness trackers to tech-inspired wearables.

Some are going to look futuristic, like the Madonna-esque Chromat bra made with LED lights. But in general, tech companies say they’re creating products that the tech industry doesn’t see in the mainstream.

Accessible Fashion: Accessories

“Technology is so dominant in our society right now that you’d think it should dominate fashion,” said hip-hop artist will.i.am, who was at CES to show off his new smart band, Puls. “But that’s not really the case. It should be invisible; you don’t have to see it. It should be like the internet. ”

Wearing a Puls band on each arm, the Black Eyed Peas singer said he wanted to create clothing that could evoke the joy people feel from a new pair of shoes, a product that is as much about identity and self-expression as it is about technical ability.

“Our devices – our phones, our tablets – are some of the most unique things we’ve seen in the human community. But my phone, I show it through it, but I don’t show it. He said this in an interview with Venetia. “The devices of tomorrow that allow you to communicate are not things you put in your pocket or purse,” he said.

Will.i.am enlisted former Vogue editor-in-chief Andre Leon Talley to help design the screen-powered $400 Puls, which makes and receives calls and texts, connects to social media and plays music. The answer: a dark black band will do.i.am said it evoked the skin tones of the punk rock era as well as the luxury brands of Chanel and Fendi.

Intel Brings Wearable Technology To Hussein Chalayan’s Paris Fashion Week Show

With technology moving more and more into the fashion industry, those who have yet to adopt it are feeling the pressure to update their products.

At CES, British technology company Visijax showed off a yellow neon jacket for motorcyclists, equipped with LED lights that light up when the wearer raises their hand to indicate left or right. Although the product performed well, CEO Mark Bernstein complained that the look of the jacket seemed to turn off modern buyers.

“You look good to me, you see, and I don’t think you’re going to buy one of these jackets. Because it’s not cool enough,” Bernstein told the 20-man conference, to which he nodded, “Yeah, sure.”

For the first time, Refinery29, the leading fashion, style and beauty website, sent a creative team to the show to transform a suite at the Wynn into a dream home for a millennial, tech-focused woman.

Best Tech Gifts For Women: Style Meets Innovation

The suite has been designed to give attendees a sense of how technology can be combined with beautiful scenery. Among the products revealed: Internet-connected rings and rings, 3-D printed clothing and charging bags and cables for mobile devices. In a sign that even fashion’s biggest players are paying attention, Chanel and Neiman Marcus reps stopped by to check out the space.

Refinery29’s director of lifestyle Kelly Bourdet said the site’s readers have shown interest in combining fashion and technology, especially as they grew up online.

“They’ve always had technology, they’ve gotten older when their cell phones were important to them,” he said. “Their technology and style is a natural extension of themselves. Marrying the two is therefore an inevitable consequence of this time. ”

The Revolutionary Role Of A.i. Pins In The Digital Era

In the world of technology, AI is a big thing, changing the way we do things. We use AI in the phone and in the home to make it easier. Now, there’s something new: wearable AI. It’s not just a good tool; it’s about mixing technology and fashion. Companies like Humane, Meta, and Rewind do.

Think of smart glasses as more shoe-like assistants. Microsoft owns the patent behind AI. Imagine a future where our clothes and objects become our assistants. It’s not just about wearing the latest technology; is to be a part of the future-technological era, where what you wear communicates what’s next.

Once considered a distant dream, artificial intelligence (AI) is now a reality. This technology is involved in almost all areas of the world. The last frontier in AI applications can be wearable AI, where the main goals of the IT industry—miniaturization and augmented intelligence—are brought to life.

The vision is to create AI-enabled devices that are always accessible and not burdensome to carry or operate. This concept is very dynamic, allowing integration with various electronic devices, from smart watches and glasses to bracelets and rings.

In this evolving technology, companies like Humane, Meta, and Rewind are at the forefront of this trend, pushing the boundaries of technology and fashion. While many companies are using AI algorithms to augment computing, only a few are integrating AI into hardware or the cloud. Wearable AI is becoming more and more popular, focusing on understanding AI algorithms associated with specific smart devices. In simple terms, wearable AI monitors and analyzes speech, heart rate, and weather, and provides timely alerts. So far so early
