When I woke up and the Fitbit logo was on my Fitbit, I tried to troubleshoot it as mentioned here:
Fitbit Won T Turn On Charge Hr
After holding the button for 5-10 seconds, the smiley came, but no vibration. Then nothing happened and it was dark. I left it charging for a while and when I came back there was the logo again. I repeated the process, but nothing happened.

Then I saw this post (https:///t5/Inspire-Inspire-HR/Inspire-won-t-turn-on/td-p/3488768) about what traneshaph did for her. I deleted the device from my phone hoping I could add it again, but I can’t. Also, when it snapped to charge, there was no vibration at all.
Lately, it’s also been difficult to swipe up and down on the screen, but I’m not sure if that’s related.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and taking the time to try the troubleshooting steps shared in other forum threads. To help you better with this, can you please tell me if the heart rate sensors are flashing or if your device is completely off? Unanswered? There are no lights flashing on the back of the device. Also, I don’t know if it helps, but it has a 001 under the Fitbit logo on the front.
The device should be able to charge without any problem. The pins are clean of dust or debris and the device is connected as usual. So I don’t think charging is the problem.
Hi, I responded on Sunday with a fairly involved reply, but still haven’t received a reply. The problem is not solved. At this point, my Fitbit would surely have died if it hadn’t been plugged in, so it’s able to charge. The strap on my Fitbit keeps snapping and constantly refuses to sync with my iPad or iPhone and it charges very quickly. Has anyone else had a similar experience.

I’m sorry to hear you’re having problems with the strap and your Charge HR isn’t syncing to your iPhone or iPad. I want to help you.
When the battery drains fast, I would recommend leaving your tracker on charge and once it’s fully charged, remove the charger and plug it in. Sync it and use it as you normally would. Make sure to sync it frequently after this (at least every hour or two) so the battery levels are recorded on the app log, and let me know when the battery is low so I can take a closer look and then we can move. Forward with other options to get you back on track.
Now for the issues you’re having with your tracker not syncing, I’d like to offer some suggestions if you haven’t tried them.

Restart your Charge HR. To do this, plug the charging cable into any USB port or UL-certified USB wall charger and plug the other end into your Charge HR. Press and hold the button for 10-12 seconds until you see the Fitbit icon and version number and release the button.
Make sure you’re on the latest version of the Fitbit app and the latest version of your compatible mobile device’s OS.
If you’re still having problems, you can try removing your tracker from the Bluetooth device. For this, go to your phone’s Bluetooth settings. On your connected devices, find your tracker. Tap on it, then select the option that says “Forget this device”. Then, proceed to set up your tracker as a new device.
To do this, go to the account section in the upper right corner on the Fitbit app and select the option “Set up a new device”. Follow the on-screen instructions and when you’re done, your tracker should sync without issue.
Inspire Hr Won’t Turn On
I have tried all these things but it still won’t sync. Is there anything you can do on your end?
I have the same problem now that the battery is draining very quickly. I’ve charged it several times and then put it right there and it’s been syncing all day. How should I proceed with the logs so we can diagnose the problem?
Nothing seems to work and now this flatline icon appears. How can I send you a photo?
Can anyone help with my Fitbit not progressing?
Can’t Turn On Fitbit. Any Help?
I don’t have any issues with the Charge HR not syncing. But recently, I’m seeing an issue where the battery won’t charge within an hour of being fully charged. My belt is fine. My charge HR is about 14 months.
My experience seems to be similar to yours. After recharging my FitBit to 100%, I feel like it won’t sync. Everything else looks fine, but the charge is unlikely to last more than an hour and now it won’t sync. Same behavior as my first Charge HR which lasted only 8 months.
I’ve found that the Fitbit Charge HR… I’m now on my third for the fourth. This drains the battery. Today I either have a blank screen or an **ahem** exclamation point. Yet my app says it’s synced. Go figure. I’ve tried a reset, I’ve plugged it in, I’ve cleaned the connections and nothing. I won’t remove it, because it won’t turn on. Customer service for Fitbits is abysmal. I’m replacing it with a Samsung!!!
I’m now starting to see what you mean now that it’s been a week since the initial contact with the Fitbit experts but no help after several messages???
Fitbit Charge Hr Review: For Its Price, The Best All Around Fitness Band
Fitbit Charge HR has persistent issues. My daughter wanted hers replaced and it was “out of warranty” and after buying the new version, the band had to be replaced within the first few months. Like I said, I’m on my third (or fourth?) and something always goes wrong. For $150 or more, if you think they’ll last more than a year.
Hi @theresaab4961! Thanks for coming back and doing all the things suggested on @FerdinandFitbit’s post. Sorry for the delay in this response. I also appreciate the image you attached. Please note that the bar you see on the display is the firmware update progress bar, causing you sync issues and battery drain. I would suggest following these steps to update the Charge HR, if that doesn’t help unpair your Fitbit and reset it, the update will be done automatically. Regarding the band issue, I have created a case for you on our support department, they will be in touch soon, please keep an eye on your inbox.
Hello@jt_stl Sorry to hear that you are having the same experience with your Charge HR, please follow the same steps and let me know how it goes.
Welcome to the Fitbit forums@phatneff! Thanks for sharing your inconvenience with your battery draining, I appreciate the details provided. I would recommend following the steps in the article: Is my battery not charging on my Fitbit device? To ensure that the battery is charging properly. Please also see the following article: Can I improve the battery life of my Fitbit device? And turn off the sync option throughout the day, this will drain the battery faster. You can also do a battery test, after charging for at least two hours, until the battery is completely drained, sync about five times per day without recharging and let me know.
