If you’ve never changed your Wi-Fi password from the default password that came with your router, you should find the password on the router itself next to the “SSID” header. If you changed your password from the default password, you can find the password on your Windows or Mac computer. For a Windows PC, first click on the WiFi icon on the right side of the taskbar. Next, click on “Network and Internet Settings” and then on the WiFi tab. Now click on “Change adapter settings”. Select your current WiFi network, then click the “View this connection status” button. Click “Wireless Features,” then “Security.” Finally, in the Network Security field, click the Show Badges box to see your WiFi password. For Mac, first open Finder and click Go. Then click on “Utilities” and then “Keychain Access”. Find the name of your Wi-Fi network and double-click on it. Now check the “Show password” box and enter your computer password to see your WiFi password in the password field. If you still can’t find your Wi-Fi password, you can reset your router as a last resort. Find the reset button on your router and hold it for 30 seconds. This will reset the password to the default password, which you can find in the list of routers. Read on for tips on how to access your router’s password using an Ethernet connection!
